The
Mineral Division is mainly engaged in the export of
Iron Ore Lumps, Calibrated Lump Ore, Iron Ore Fines, Iron Pellets, Bauxite,
Manganese Ore, etc.
It is also
engaged in the import of
Coking Coal, Met Coke, Steam Coal from countries like China, Australia
and Indonesia.

PEL has
infrastructure at all major ports of India like Haldia, Paradip, Vizag, New
Mangalore and others for storage and handling of Iron Ore.
PEL has an impeccable track record of timely shipments and maintaining a high
quality of the minerals, exported. During the financial year 2003-04, Phulchand
Exports Limited has exported approx. 500,000 tonne of Iron Ore from various
ports of India.
During the year 2004-05, PEL achieved a target to export approx. 2 million
tonne Iron Ore, Pellets, etc. PEL also imports Coking Coal for Cookeries, Met
Coke for Steel Plants and Steam Coal for Power and Cement plants in India.
